ingredients
  • 1 lb Peeled Pears
  • 1 Qt Kitchen Red Wine

PROCEDURE
  • Peal the skin off of the pears
  • Cut in half length wise. Do not remove stem or core
  • Put in a pot with red wine
  • Bring to a boil over medium high heat
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes
  • Turn off heat and remove pears from red wine into a new pan
  • Cool and then remove stem and slice long ways
  • Reserve for service
