- 1 lb Peeled Pears
- 1 Qt Kitchen Red Wine

PROCEDURE
- Peal the skin off of the pears
- Cut in half length wise. Do not remove stem or core
- Put in a pot with red wine
- Bring to a boil over medium high heat
- Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes
- Turn off heat and remove pears from red wine into a new pan
- Cool and then remove stem and slice long ways
- Reserve for service
