- 4 bags piquillos (20lbs)
- 1 pint sugar

PROCEDURE
- Drain piquillos (save the liquid!).
- Sear piquillos hard on the plancha.
- Mix sugar with drained liquid and a little water.
- Put piquillos back into the liquid and cover with foil.
- Roast in 350ºF oven for 10 minutes.
- Cool in liquid, reserve.
