Peach, Grapes, Floral Orange Blossom
Notes of Pear and Citrus fruits with slight salinity on the finish. Though unoaked with no malolactic fermentation, this wine has some weight to it, with a nice, crisp sharpness to it.
Sumarroca is one of the most ambitious large Cava houses in the Penedes with several holdings. This wine is made with fruit from the Sumarroca and Sabartes estates. The Sabartes in particular is heavily influenced by the Mediterranean.
The nose has ripe summer peach, lychee, grapes and floral orange blossoms. The palate is round and juicy, but with enough structure to keep it bright to the finish. A perfect, aromatic aperitif wine.
